The Carpet Bag - "Dandelion"

This large handbag, The Dandelion, is a beauty! The Dandelion is a Christian symbol for the Passion of Christ, as well as the assumed herb the Israelites ate the night of the Passover. This particular style of bag is the Carpet Bag. It has two large semi-circular pockets on each side, perfect for items that you want to grab quickly. Sturdy corduroy handles are supported by gold rings and hefty gold jean buttons. (The white tag is the label that comes with the purse and can be removed.) Limited Edition (3)

Welcome to Scarlet Clover. It is a blessing to have you here! The handbags that we have designed are full of symbolism. Each bag bears its own symbol, along with a tag to tell how that particular symbol relates to Christian and Jewish history as well as a scripture verse. Some bags may simply be about color, while others reveal common images that we see around us, but may not be aware of its relation to our faith. Occasionally some of the bags will be a limited edition, but most are one of a kind. The Scarlet Clover on white backing that will be on every bag is my symbol, and it stands for “the blood He shed for me and the blessed Trinity”. These handbags are truly a labor of love for our Lord Jesus Christ. It is my intention to use my gift that the Lord has given me, the gift of sewing and creating, to spread the word of God. My hope is that through these beautiful handbags, the Christian consumer can carry and proudly display their beliefs through our Christian symbols, as well as reach out to the untrained eye and teach what the symbols of our faith are about.

Scarlet Clover is in its infancy and I ask that you pray for its growth. I am working as fast as my little fingers can stitch in getting these bags to you! I am a mother of three and have a darling husband that demand so much of my time. With any free time I can steel away, I am working passionately, stitching and designing new bags. Because of this, I ask for your patience. My production is not where I would like it to be at the moment, but in due time, God will provide!
