The Elisabeth Bag "Circle"

The circle is a symbol of eternity because it has no beginning and no end. The circle was of strong symbolic importance to early humans because of its association with the sun, moon, and stars. In some early Christian manuscripts depicting Christ sitting on the throne in heaven, the earth at his feet is rendered as a circle. "It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, ..." Isaiah 40:22. (Alva William Steffler, Symbols of the Christian Faith [Grand Rapids, Mich,: Eerdmans, 2002]), 74.
This beautiful girl next to me, our daughter, is the creator of the Elisabeth Bag. She came up with the drawing and I worked with her on the mechanical drawing, drafting the pattern and building the bag. She picked out the fabric. Given that this is our first design together, I thought it only appropriate for the bag to share something from both of us. My daughter and I both share the same middle name, Elisabeth. And so the Elisabeth Bag was born.
This handbag is available in a variety of colors. Click on any of the photos for a larger image.
I love the 6 pockets in this bag! Quite honestly, it could function well as a small diaper bag ~ a quite stylish diaper bag.

This handbag closes nice and neat at the top. Magnetic snaps are on both sides for a tight closure. Should you need more space, pop open the snaps for more room. Straps are 100% leather. All hardware is nickle. The bottom of the bag is faux leather with nickle purse feet.
